I know my way around a commercial kitchen. I showed him how I diced the ingredients into smaller pieces. Use more flour and garlic. Use more oil on a hot pan. The result was crispier and tastier. He took one bite, and I knew he liked it. I saw that smile. But the smile quickly disappeared as he said that it sucked, and he just dumped it in the trash.
I wouldn’t have eaten that either, because the ingredients looked like a month old, as proven by my extended stay in the bathroom hours later. But I bet you he’ll be cooking that dish differently now.
